The Connor Homes Ontario Residential Treatment Network provides assessment, consultation and therapy services in partnership with Quinte Assessment and Treatment Group and Quinte Counselling Services, both in person and through a televideo system. Aftercare includes ongoing services for youth and Professional Caregivers as well as training and therapy sessions for biological parents, caregivers and other community partners.

This is a beautiful, six bedroom home located in a charming, quiet and attractive residential community in Kingston, Ontario. The home is equipped with an ample back yard, enclosed with a privacy fence allowing a sense of solitude and retreat. This back yard contains a large, fenced pool for enjoyment in the warm months. Just minutes away, city transit can be accessed for purposes of recreation, self- sufficiency, school and child-specific activities. The home’s location is ideal for access to restaurants, gyms, organized sports fields, public and secondary schools and shopping malls. The home is fixed with a finished basement that contains a very large rec room, full-sized laundry facilities, four bedrooms and a storage area. The family enjoys such activities as watching car races and camping and is known to invite each member of their foster family to enjoy these with them. They are very experienced in working with the natural families of their residents.

The foster parents have had more than a decade of experience working with youth in various treatment environments. Their knowledge of behavioural programming and interventions, mental health, life and social skills teaching and anger management is vast. Their capacity for providing coaching and model ling of these skills is exceptional and treatment focused.

Therapy is provided weekly for each resident; this therapy is goal-oriented and based on the specific needs of each child. The Therapist, Area Supervisor, Child Care Workers and Foster Parents, alongside all involved professionals and natural family, work as a cohesive team to create and implement appropriate interventions and programming that will meet the individual needs of each youth.
