Woodcock Youth Centre (Cedarhaven Residence)
Spencerville, ON
8 male bed home

Cedarhaven is located 25 minutes north off Hwy 401, between Ottawa, Cornwall and Brockville. This 8 bed, Live in staff/staff assisted run home for teenaged youth is a red brick rural farmhouse with an immense wooded property.

The program is based on a behaviour modification approach through positive reinforcement. Residents quickly learn that with privileges comes responsibility. This is done to prepare older residents for independent living or a less intrusive model of home.

This home is 35 minutes from any major city, which allows for easy access to resources. As well, because of the distance and rural setting, AWOL’s are passively deterred. Residents have full access to the horse program at Stonehaven and will eventually have a full program of their own.
